Dry Salt Therapy

Equine Dry Salt Therapy provides a safe non-invasive therapy for performance horses of all disciplines. This state of the art treatment helps to improve the overall health and efficiency of the horse’s respiratory system which in turn leads to improved cardiovascular performance.

Our custom built Salt Room is equipped with a patented dry aerosol delivery system specially designed to provide Salt Therapy for horses. The equipment micronizes pure mineral salt and then releases it into the air for the horse to breathe. The particle size and concentration are carefully monitored and adjustments made in real time to ensure maximum benefits.

During a session the horse passively breaths micronized salt. The Salt acts like an expectorant, accelerating mucus clearance and improving lung function while killing harmful bacteria and soothing the respiratory system.

The Treatment

Salt naturally has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities. When horses breathe salt into their lungs it reduces inflammation and congestion that can cause airways to restrict.
